How to Play Solitaire

Goal: Build four foundation piles, one for each suit (♠♥♦♣), from Ace to King in ascending order.

Setup

The game starts with 28 cards dealt into 7 tableau columns. The first column has 1 card, the second has 2, and so on up to 7. Only the top card of each column is face-up. The remaining 24 cards form the stock pile.

How to Move

• Tableau: Build descending sequences alternating red and black. For example, a red 6 can be placed on a black 7.
• Foundation: Start each pile with an Ace, then add 2, 3, 4... up to King of the same suit.
• Stock: Click to flip 3 cards to the waste pile. When stock is empty, click again to recycle.
• Empty Column: Only a King (or a sequence starting with a King) can be placed in an empty tableau column.

Controls

• Click a card to select it (green border). Then click a destination to move it.
• Drag and drop cards between columns.
• Double-click a card to auto-place it on the foundation if possible.
